Yoshihide Sasaki

is a Japanese actor in film, theater, and animation. He was a member of Toyota Office, an entertainment company and talent agency in Tokyo, but transferred in 2011 to Sense Up, a newly established department of the company.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://sasaki-yoshihide.net/modules/news/index.php?page=article&storyid=56 )〕 Sasaki has been involved in many productions, but is most involved in theater. He's best known for his role as Shiraishi Kuranosuke in The Prince of Tennis musical series. Friends and fans usually call him by his nickname Hide-sama.

In 2010 he debuted as a music artist with his mini-album Spark. In March 2012 it was announced he'd join the special unit 3Peace☆Lovers of producer Vomos together with Nikaido Hayato and ZE:A's Ha Min Woo. They debuted on June 26, 2012 with their first single Virtual Love, immediately claiming a 10th-place ranking in the Daily Oricon Charts.
==Career==
Sasaki started his stage career in 2003 appearing in the stage production of Hidamari no ki. Between 2003 and 2007 he appeared in multiple stage plays, musicals, commercials and movies, but only became known with a greater audience when he debuted as Shiraishi Kuranosoke, the captain of a fictional tennis club, in The Prince of Tennis musical production (Tenimyu) in 2008. At this point his career takes a flight and he gains much popularity, especially with teenage girls. In 2009 he frequently appears in Tenimyu, but is also featured in multiple magazines and even releasing a photobook and Idol DVD. In 2010 his appearance as Shiraishi Kuranosuke comes to an end with Dream Live 7th.

In 2010 he continues to be featured in multiple magazines, but takes on new challenges doing the recitation of the stage play Watashi no Atama no Naka no Keshigomu 2nd letter (The eraser in my mind). He also appears in the movie Kimi e no Melody (Melody for you), co-starring with Hisanori Sato, who was a member of Tenimyu's Shitenhouji cast as well. He released his first mini-album titled Spark in November after announcing his artist debut during the Summer Live tour with his good friend Yūta Furukawa (Sasaki and Furukawa also met during Tenimyu). At the end of 2010 Sasaki continues his stage career appearing in Pride.

2011 brings Sasaki more work. Not only does he in appear in multiple stage performances, he also appears in 3 movies. Gakudori, Gangster and Ishi no Furu Oka (The Hill of the Falling Stones). Co-starring as the lead with Yūta Furukawa in the last . A few months later another pair of DVD's is released featuring Sasaki and Furukawa, covering their journey in Australia. In 2011 Sasaki also starts appearing in the TV series Shinwa Senshi Gigazeus,〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.ktv.jp/gigazeus/index.html )〕 holds multiple live performances, releases 2 maxi singles, releases a calendar and becomes the MC of the Nico Nico Live Broadcast titled mmmm☆Ecstasy.

In 2012 he continues his stage career appearing in Douke no Hitomi, Tumbling vol.3,〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.tumblingtbs.jp )〕 SA☆BI☆TA~ame ni hakonda ai~,〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.toho.co.jp/stage/ )〕 another run of Watashi no Atama no Naka no Keshigomu and the 5th Anniversary ONE-HEART MUSICAL FESTIVAL〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.tohostage.com/festival/index.html )〕 to celebrate the 5th anniversary of Theatre Clear. He also makes appearances in TV series Fallen Angel and Aozora no Tamago (A budding blue sky). Nico Live Broadcast titled mmmm☆Ecstasy comes to an end, but is soon replaced with Nico Live Broadcast titled mmmm☆Ecstasy?. Due to his busy schedule Sasaki is only able to appear a few times and the show is canceled later in the same year. In March he releases his 2nd mini-album NeΦ Vocalism. Around the same time it's announced he'll form a new unit called 3Peace☆Lovers with Hayato Nikaido and ZE:A's Ha Min Woo.
